The Green Ball is aimed for kids at the age of 11 and above. Players can serve and play points on a full-sized court. They can consistently rally the ball over the net (30-50 strokes with another Green Ballplayer) and will likely be involved in fixtures. Players continue developing their forehand & backhand strokes by adjusting the grip, separation of the upper body, and lower according to the stance used. At this level, the players’ primary focus is on fitness and intensive tennis drills to gain consistency.
Players practice match strategy to participate in tennis tournaments to gain confidence on court and stability. It is played on a court measured 78ft (23.77m) x 27ft (8.23m). The size of the green ball is 7-8cm in diameter and has a rebound height of 120-135cm. The recommended racket sizes for Green (Stage 1) are 25-26 inches (63.5-66cm). The net height can be (0.914m) high at the center for Green, the same height as the full court net.
